| Singer/Songwriter/Keyboardist/Composer/Producer | Louie
Blue wears many hats. The first of which he donned in the sixties when he
began his musical journey through life as a bassist, traveling extensively
across the continental United States and Mexico. Experimenting with trumpet,
saxophone, percussion and keyboards through the years, finally led him to
committing to the keyboards which he now uses to translate what he hears in
his heart to the world at large. The latest hat Louie Blue has adorned is
one of deep humility and gratitude for the love and support of his family,
friends and fans. "I owe them everything!"

| I have been accepted into the Magic
City Blues Society's, Battle of the Blues Bands 2010 competition, in Birmingham
AL., and would love to have your support on Sunday, Sept. 26th from 2:00pm
till whenever. Some of the best Blues artist from all over the state of Alabama will be competing. The competition will be divided into two groups. Solo/Duo (that's me...solo) and Bands (3 or more musicians). This is a judged competition, adhering to the rules of the International Blues Foundation. The winners of the two categories will advance to the Blues Foundation’s International Blues Challenge in Memphis in early 2011. This is sort of an American Idol for Blues Artist. What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Old Car Heaven is an amazing venue where, on the day of this event, you can see a plethora of antiques, and also dozens of very rare old cars. The Magic City Blues Society is a wonderful organization that supports Blues Artist, in Alabama, and helps keep the Blues alive and relevant. |  |
